How do I get paid?
Once your item sells, payment is securely held until the buyer receives and confirms it. After confirmation, funds are processed through Stripe and transferred to your bank account, usually within 1-2 business days. You’ll be notified when your payout is sent.
What are the fees?
There’s no cost to list items on AthleteXchange, and sellers keep 100% of the sale price. If a sale is refunded, the payout is simply reversed.
Do I need to use the Australia Post Shipping Option?
Yes - all shipments on AthleteXchange must be sent via our Australia Post integration. This ensures every transaction is fully tracked, secure, and eligible for 100% buyer protection. Using the integrated shipping option keeps both buyers and sellers safe and makes selling your gear simple and hassle-free.
Do I need to connect a card or bank account to sell?
Yes - before you can receive payouts, you’ll need to connect a bank account or debit card through Stripe during seller onboarding. This lets Stripe securely process and transfer your funds once a sale is completed. If you don’t connect payout details, you won’t be able to list or sell items.
What if my item doesn’t sell?
You can update the price, improve photos, relist, or remove it anytime.
